Interior is about 90% done. Its a much darker black than the picture shows. I had to use the flash on the camera to be able to see anything.

I think I'm just going to use a gibson pro stock engine.

looks like it might be a start. I want a tunnel ram intake and 2 carbs though. Can you usually use sbc with bbc parts on model cars and it still look right?

Thanks, I'm really starting to get a soft spot for the prostreet cars. I used to be almost a die hard 10.5 guy. I'm putting the interior together tonight. I don't have school til the 15th so I should have this car done pretty soon. Still can't track down a big block

Not really sure. I've been wanting to build a big tire Monte for awhile and saw that hobby lobby had their models 30% off so I said why not and bought the Revell Monte and AMT Pro Street Nova. I'm using the chassis from the nova. I don't think I will be using anything but the body from the Monte. Not sure what to do about the rear suspension, might try to build a 4 link from scratch. I might build a new motor for it too. Maybe a Sonny's Pro Stock motor. Just going to kind of build it as I go with no specific idea.

Its not glued together yet, so I will be redoing the paint in a few spots. The silver paint is actually pretty even, I think the paper the car is sitting on is reflecting the light on the bottom of the car and making it look lighter than it is. Thanks for the help guys.

The car is about 90% done. The camera really shows spots that I need to touch up or redo. Definitely need some more practice. I would like to give this kit another shot soon. I'm very happy with the paint scheme, just wish I could have executed it better.

Not near the level of work most do around here, but I'm still learning. My girlfriend decided she wanted in the picture lol. My digital camera isn't working right now, so my phone had to do and doesn't take very good close up pics.

I'm thinking about building a 10.5 outlaw car and most use some sort of big turbo setup. Are there any kits that come with a really large turbo?

I've been practicing building wheel tubs from scratch, but my cuts on the frame aren't very clean and I wince every time I have to cut something in fear that a big crack might happen. Whats the best tool/method to go about this?

Ok, thanks. Would it be a good idea to buy the wheels and tires I like first, and then build the tubs around them?
