Both kits are original MPC issues and the decals came from Keith Marks. These were built before I discovered the tire letter decals from Fireball Models.
I scratch built the setting for the car and did some mild weathering on the car as well. The tarp is made from a klennex soaked in Elmers glue and then painted after it dried on the car to give it it's shape.
I am planing a restoration of this model I have had for about 18 years. I have grafted an L-88 scoop to the hood and plan to use some sort of custom wheel/tire combo. I have also wet sanded the body for painting.
I used the Revell '29 Ford Rat Rods kit for this one. The motor is out of a Revell 1969 Yenko Camaro kit and the headers are from a pro stock kit. I used flat rust colored paints for the body. Thanks for looking.
I built this car using an AMT body and interior with an AMT Nova RatPacker chassis and suspension. The chassis and interior tub had to be heavily modified. This was something fun.
