Does anyone out there know who might make & sell or has built a flat hood for a 1/12 scale 69 Camaro?

Hey guys, looking for some dimensions of the Lakewood Competition "slapper" Traction bars that were popular in the 60's & 70's on street/strip cars. I can find a ton of pictures but no spec's (length, width, height, etc.). Looking to build a set for my 1/12 scale 69 Camaro project. Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks....Marty

I've watching this one. Glidden's 78 Fairmont never lost a round of racing, national, regional or match raced. Unbelievable car! Saw it a U.S. 30 back in the day. If your interested, there's a great article at competitionplus.com with the man himself.

Need to find that post you're talking about Ray, I just covered some masking tape with some semi-gloss spray paint and it's not quite what I'm after, looks good but just not "THERE". Notice how the word "witch" was substituted for the word "which"? Happy halloween everyone, thanks guy's!

What's a good paint that will resemble a vinyl roof from a late 60's GM product? Need to do a roof on a 69 Camaro. I am assuming it's some kind of "wrinkle" paint, but witch brand are you guys using?

Hey T-
I'm a little envious, this is goimg to be a Killer machine, love the door cars especially 69 Camaro's. Have ya givin' any thought to "Hugger Orange"? I'm just alittle partial to that color!

OUCH! I feel for ya Mitch, been there, done that except with 4 speeds. I'll bet it'll be alot easier & cheaper to put the model together than the real thing. Although probably not as much fun, can't drive the model.

Thank you. Not too terribly amount of hours building those in one 1/12 scale. I would imagine in 1/24 scale, it would be a lot different.
