  1. Shirleys Mustang was one of my favorite ever F/C's and you've done a brilliant job! paintwork is fantastic and really like the finish on the zoomie's and rims and tyres.
  2. I got a set of the Auslowe P/E slamlocks for an SAR and the K-120 W/T i'm doing and they're spot on. Also comes with a pair of the foot step alloy treads as well as the badges.
  3. Those fuel tanks are actually PVC pipe wrapped in brushed alloy vinyl. I always prefer PVC pipe tanks to proper alloy one's. They're cheaper, weigh a 1/4 of the weight and look just the same if they're done right!
  4. Beautiful chassis and engine detail, skirts look good too, don't jump out at you, but you know they're there. Got a real spot for the '62 Impala's, was my first Chevy i owned and 25 years on still regret selling it!
  5. Very sweet, reminds me of the old Stone, Woods & Cook gasser. Gotta love those looong ladder bars!
  6. Excellent work! Love the extra details on the body that a lot of people miss, like the spill plate cables. Makes me want to break out one of 16th FC's!
  7. Thanks for the kind comments guys I seem to have lost all my diagrams for the Hilborn linkages in the last house move. Never got around to making them, but have done the injectors and metering block, so if anyone's got some diagrams for the linkages it would be a great help.
  8. Excellent trailer, even more for a scratch built one. That pipework really sets it off beautifully as well as the colors.
  9. Looking real good so far. Love the single headlights, i'm doing one of these as well at the moment. Over here they're designated the K120 W/T, just a very basic version of the K123 with max' HP at about 270.
  10. Yeah, i heard end of April too and that the pre-sales are still going bezerk, so i ordered 2 just in case.
  11. That looks absolutly brilliant. Never seen an outfit like that before, very different.
  12. Definitly agree with you about the front end height, been planning on dropping it down about 10mm, and i'll have a good look through that rulebook too, been wanting to know the exact class rules so i can build it more accurately.
  13. Been building this old girl on and off for the past 2 or 3 years now. Bought a semi started T-Bird, junked about 50% of it and used the rest. The body was terrible (typical 1/16th AMT!), lengthened the rear wheel arches by about 11mm, cut the inner fenders and radiator support away and left the firewall, though i'm not sure if i'm going to keep to keep that either. Filled the porthole windows in the B pillars and shaved all the badges. Chassis is all scratch built using Evergreen and K&S brass and alloy. Ladderbars and coil overs in the back with springs and straight axle in the front. Scratch built the stub axles and used 1mm Hob bits bolts, nuts and washers on all the wheels. Engine is a 426 which will be converted to a 392 with scartch built Hilborn injection. Body is 90% ready for paint but can't make up my mind what colors to do!, all i know is it will have a heavy flaked roof with the rest in candy with a definite Bo Huff look to it.
  14. Holy cow! If i wasn't 10,000 or so miles from there i'd be there in an instant, and with a cheque book too! So many great things there to build; i'm going to have to really go through these shots.
  15. Man, i'm seriously itchin' to get stuck into one of these! Got some candy blue set aside already! Those black fenders really look fantastic, gives it that slightly retro feel too.
  16. Great blending, can't wait to see some paint on this.
  17. Hey all, new to here but been building trucks for the past 32 years and thought i'd share a few builds with you. This one i built for a customer about 4 or 5 years ago. Started with a chassis i built 25 years ago, cleaned it up, then fitted the torsion bars, new tanks and mounts, twin air cleaners, 8V92T and Road Ranger and spider rims. Cab floor and engine tunnel were scratch built (for right hand drive), scratch built windows, bullbar and the list goes on and on....
  18. That looks very cool. I've definitly got a thing for single drives. Is that a 250 Cummins in it?
  19. That K-123 looks great Tim, so good to have one of the best old kits back in production. What do you think the chances are of seeing the Watkins/Movin'On back again? Did hear there was an issue with the chassis when they did the T-600 but never heard how bad it was??
