almost forgot the reason i keep pushing myself to be a better person my daughter she is almost 3 now

here is me and my better half have not shaved or cut my hair since this picture only been about 6 months or so

well got my engine painted and the header built just got to wire the engine up and install in the frame . still need to build the back half of the frame its a uni body construction so i can get it lower than a lawn mower lol. were can i buy the spray on rust treatment that makes plastic look like rusted metal ?

lol Harold good one thought you guys might want to know i decided to build the 56 f-100 called lil nugget to go with this build bill built that truck for his brother and i will use it for a tow rig for the bat . im also building the diorama of his custom shop in California and his gas station that was in Michigan

i can understand some of us dont have the cash to spend on BMF and quality paint plug wires ETC. as a out of work dad i totally understand ive seen both sides of the fence here ive had money to blow on a hobby and ive been broke but i dont think that stops some one from building there best in to a kit it all comes down to skill here. we need to take in to account the persons age and how long they have been building and maybe offer guidance when its needed you never know the guy that you tell his build is messed up may be a kid or a old person who cant see that well . just thought i would add this to my last post take my words for what its worth guys and remember its just a hobby its supposed to be fun

hey well let me say what i think i think you may have done the best you could with these kits and thats ok you learn from what you did and you will get better on the next one . i would have test fitted more parts first on these builds but they do look ok can i ask you how long you have been building ? and how old you are ? the good thing is the paint looks nice and you nailed that and dont worry about the rest my builds looked like this at one time we learn and get better and better . i hope you dont think im being mean here to you because im not trying to be like i said you did the best you could have with 2 bad kits . tyler

all of you make great points i post my builds when i can and i hope i get good and bad feedback its the only way i can make my builds and skill better . on that note i have been posting on other forums and have learned to get thick skin and let the comments roll off my back and read in to what they say so i can better myself .

im using a chevy 6 cyl from the custom chevy truck kit

ill take that one on if i may and would love to do hot rod Lincoln and the Johny cash one peace at a time and it did not cost me a dime . we got a whole year for this i can pull it off

well i wanted to test my skills so i scratch built a cab and well ...... it did not turn out so great so what i decided to do was build a rat rod with it instead of throwing it away . the only "kit parts" in this build is the front and rear axle the motor and trans and the wheels and tires and a 49 ford dash and custom wheel the rest im fabing up . the engine is a chevy 6 cyl so is the front and rear axle out of the custom p/u pictures are coming tonight stay tuned .....

well here is the first build i posted on here i will get pictures of the model of the car with in the next day got to find my camera first . wyle your waiting on pictures ill tell you what has been done list of mods headlights have been frinched with the stock rings rear stock bumper has had the bumper guards removed hood corners have been rounded off all trim removed along with the door handles custom fins have been made out of .020 evergreen although only the drivers side has been glued on at this point mods to come 51 ford dash and 51 metier grill custom tuck n' roll interior Cadillac sombrero caps hand made lake pipes kisar bumper guard with stretched rear bumper and a scale 4 IN chop and black paint with no scallops
