It is amazing to me that someone made this from scratch. Seriously why I am sticking with the hobby. I am not on this level now but hope to be someday. Simply incredible. Thanks for the inspiration

I owned a forum for a few years for Ministers only. They stress with that was overwhelming and actually ridiculous. I sold the forum and went to NYC with the wife with the proceeds. IN the next few months I started to get on my wife's nerves as I was taking out all of my frustrations on her and the kids. BAD .... very BAD. She tricked me into going with her to Hobby Lobby one day and after being bored out of my mind for about an hour I stumbled across the model isle. Like just about every red blooded kid I built model in my younger years. I was never really a "car" guy. But after much persuasion from my wife I bought a kit some paint and glue and away I went.
I guess for me it isn't about making the model exactly like it was when they rolled it off the showroom floor. It is simply a release from stress. I enjoy the artistry and turning a white canvas of plastic in something I call art. Am I any good at it... Nope, but I love it anyways.
So I am one of only a hand full of fellows whose wife cannot complain about my addiction to plastic and all that is connected with the hobby. Nope she just has to grit her teeth and bear it.

I need a site where I can find about 20-25 snap tite kits for a group of young men at our church.
I found one before where someone was selling kits without boxes. Cant find it now....

Took my wife to Columbus on Monday for her birthday. While at Polaris doing a bit of shopping she spotted a Hobby Lobby.
She makes the statement that shook my world.... "Hey honey we should go there tomorrow and see if they have any kits you don't have".
My heart still shutters when I think about it..... but it doesn't end there.
We go Tuesday morning and I grab a couple kits and plan on walking away when I hear her say...... "Hey don't you need some paint for them"?
I think I will keep her around for a while.......

Went to HL tonight with the wifey. Of course I run to the model isle only to see the shelves half empty. BUT in the second isle there was a sign that said all plastic models 30% off. When I got the checkout I asked the cashier to just make sure and she said they were on sale last week, but she would have the manager check it out.
He came back with the sign and said give him the discount!!!!
Didn't have much to pick from but I walked away with a Monster Truck and a Concept Camaro kit that I will detail out.
Should have went back for more but the store was closing in 5 minutes and there was a line.

Not only does she support me she also picks out models for me and has even bought one at Hobby Lobby for me out of the kindness of her heart.
She supports the hobby because she knows the benefit of the relaxation it gives to me.
Even my girls support the hobby by telling me their are happy I found a hobby.

Any know of a good "How To" step by step wiring video (distributor, battery and such) for models?
If so, where can one find it.

I have recently purchased a couple nice sets of Pegasus tires. Love em.
My problem is how do you connect these to the kits?
Most revell kits use a pin set-up and in my ignorance cannot figure out how to get these to connect.
Help this big dummy with connecting his wheels to his ride....

Nice.... I love these models.
Only problem I have with them is the handlebars keep breaking away from the trees. Have you had this issue yet?

Lots of old models. Some were open and he started them but never finished.
Some were nothing more than part boxes.
LUCKILY.... the good ones were in tact and sealed.
