I had one that was a gluebomb, I thought about cutting off the roof and putting it on the Revell 48, but then a guy offered me $10 for it.
It went to a new home......:-)

Now all that's left to do is build another room for the stash......(lol!!!).....:-)

Very nice wagon, as are all of your wagons...hope you will build the new Revell 57 Del Rio, and post it too

I have found Plastikote primer at TSC (tractor supply ) if you have one in your area, try looking there..:-)

Nice lookin' effie, wish Revell would retool this kit, & update it....:-)

Chuck, nice old relic, I'm not into rust that much, but I like this one..
Like your website also

That kit is a POS.
A car pre-butchered... No option to build stock. No Merc engine, even hot roded. Will NEVER buy that.
The AMT kit by other hand, is just superb.
For a fun time, use the AMT Merc body on the Revell Merc frame, then use the front suspension from the AMT kit to make steerable wheels

Will look again tomorrow, till then , G'day...

Built in true 50's style, looks like it just came out an early kustom shop, very well done.

This a good place to rebuild your stash, enjoy building again.

nice work, great idea using the Revell 49 Merc flames, they look like they were made for the Ford

if you are lmk, also what hobby shops do you recommend? thanks

The only way Revell would make a new Vega kit would be to do a Motion/Baldwin V8 conversion street.
The existing Vega and Pinto tools are very modified compared to the early 70s small bumper varieties that I think people want. Not sure if Round2 can or would want to back date these tools.
email Round 2 and ask if rereleases of the Pinto and Vega are on their radar ..

Oh Boy - that would get lots of looks in traffic
! Not sure how that works, and mainly I wonder about the same front tire thing as Jamie.
Here's another pretty cool way to haul your Front Engine Dragster. I saw it here in Finland a few years ago, a Finnish guy came Drag Racing with his Fuel Injected, Methanol Burning FED using his '32 Ford Coupe with a 409 as a hauler.
Now that is "Overhaulin"
