thanks for looking everyone, and you're right Romell. I noticed that and another friend pointed it out also. I plan on removing the rings and shaving them down a bit. I appreaciate all the feedback. -

Up next is the front bench seat. I sent the back sear to a club brother so he could cast me a copy. All I did is clean it up a bit and split it, all credit on this part is mostly due to my club brother Darren -

Next up was the hubcaps. I made these with the Deeks straight lace spokes, scratch built hubs, and rings from an old kit. This is what I had to go off of Here's mine Those who know me, know I have to make'em functional! -
As the title implies, this is a commission build of a replica 67 Impala. I started with the AMT street machine kit. The list of mods nessisary to make this kit a true replica include shaving all SS trim and emblems, adding standard Impala side trim, fender skirts, dual rear antennas(with 76 balls), sunroof, cat eye headlight covers, blinds for the rear window, a bench front seat, red "breezies" for the wind wings, spoke Chevy hubcaps, standard steering wheel, color bar, tissue dispenser, bumper guards (front and rear), and building a motor to match the 1:1. First on the agenda is the bodywork. Made the skirts and the trim

sorry, no pics. I built it on discription
-
thanks guys for all the great feedback! no I don't. I built the whole thing from discription. the cool part is she posted pics of it on her facebook and her friends that knew her back then, thought she had posted pics of her ACTUAL car. they all say it's dead on. I'm just glad it worked out so well.

here's a closer look at the guts: the picture on the top of the dash if of my cousin and her husband (then bf) when they were in HS here's the spoon I made for the ignition:
-
I built this as a replica of my cousin's first car back in the 70's. It was a 1 month build, rushed because it was a surprise birthday present based on information that I got from her husband. he told me that besides of having the stock maroon paint with vinyl top, maroon interior, it had a dent in the driver's door, she had to start it with a spoon (I love my family), bought it for $300, and she called it the "Bomb". taking all that, this is what I built:

a couple of my recents: 66 Ford 41 Chevy (that pic was taken before I plumbed and wired it) here's that same motor installed and running

thanks guys! @: ramfins59: unrolled cottonballs, lightly coated with red spraypaint.

here's my garage. I made this just to be a photo backdrop, but now it's got permanent home on my shelf. I hope you enjoy. since in my 1:1, you'll always find a half built model on my shelf, I scratch built one to fit the theme any and all feedback is appreaciated.

not sure how to post video on this site, but this should be a link -
x2! great detail work!

I want to apologize. I slept on this build at first. it's not like I've ever seen you build anything less than stellar, it just wasn't like anything I've ever seen (I don't live in a city and I'm pretty removed from "latest trends") so it kinda fell under my radar. but after taking a close look, this rigs off the hook! your attention to detail, the interior alone is as realistic as it's gonna get. the scratch built skateboards...the list goes on, crazy. great job on this! I have no doubt that in a bout 6 months I'm gonna see this trend in the 1:1 hitting my neighborhood hot spots
-
cool build! the colors look good, and the detail to the engine is on point!
-
very nice! the bungies and the board fins are sick! great use of everyday stuff!

great job for your first !:24! your history with minitures and scenery shows in your craftsmanship. the foil looks good and the wash really sets those bed rails off.
