Very nice job on the Camaro.
Is that paint color called Butternut Yellow?
I would also love to see a newly tooled 67 Camaro

Thanks everyone for all of the tips.
It sounds like Excel would be the best solution.

Very nicely done!
Too bad GM didn't make one of those back in the day.

Rob, I have been thinking about this is as well, but with less the 20 kits, I can use a napkin , but to answer your question, I think one program you could use would be a spread sheet I think. I do know there are a lot of members on here that use computer programs do keep an inventory
I thought of a spreadsheet as well Jonathan but I think there are some good programs out there that would make it a little easier to search.
-
Wow, Rob, how many kits do you have that you need "tracking" software?
I knew that question would come up. Honestly I really don't know how many I have at this point. I boxed up 100 kits today and moved them to the basement for storage. Even that didn't make a dent in my collection.
I think I need to join plastic anonymous or something.

I think it is time for me to get a little more organized. Cleaning out my model room today I came across many duplicate kits stashed away in the back of my storage cabinets. So I decided it is time to get all of this information onto my computer so I can track what I have better.
Has anyone come across a good free inventory program designed to manage model inventories?
I have been searching the net and found a few but I thought I would seek the advice from those who are using something today.
Thanks in advance.

Seriously though, you have done a really nice job on the Charger. Love all the detail under the hood.

That's a fine set of rims on that birthday card, I mean car.
I am sooo confused.

I very sorry to hear of your loss John.

Monogram had this release of the S-10 pickup back in the early 90s.

i just love these cars. Nice job finishing up your T/A.
I am jealous.

For me it is a hobby only. Building models to sell would never pay for the time and effort I would have to put into them. I have been asked to build kits for others and I do so if the provide the kit and paint. I enjoy building for others as much as I do for myself. I have a large collection of kits with mulitples of some. I still have no intention on selling them. I buy the kits to build and enjoy the hobby to much to introduce the frustration of trying to run a small business. If I did it would be no longer a fun hobby for me.

What a terrible situation Terry.
I wish TJ all the best on his road to recovery.

What a very cool kit!
I can just imagine some kid putting that together many years ago using their imagination. I used to use real carpet on some of my builds when I was a kid as well. I thought it looked great at the time.
You are giving this model a second life. I can't wait to see more.

I think it is really looking good. Nice job on the BMF for a first attempt.

That dashboard detailing is just amazing!!
This is going to be an amazing build.

I'm glad I grew up in a time where kids had to use their imaginations to have fun. I remember my cousin and I mixing real concrete to build bridges for our matchbox cars.
Building models was one of my favorite past times as a kid. Funny, come to think of it I still do this as a favorite past time.

Good Weather , and a cold beer(s) slow my builds down
I am guilty of that.
I get stuck on the final assembly of all of the little small parts.
-
Looks like you're off to a good start Rick.
Just take your time and it will come together nicely for you.
-
Love them both.
Really nice detail under the hood.
I wish there were more kits available from this generation of cars. Grand Prix, Chevelle, Cutlass, etc.

Boy, we have the exact opposite here in the North West. Raining again today, allthough we have had sun for a couple of weeks prior. Everything is wet and we are having landslides and floods.
-
Nice T/A Jon.
I loved these cars when I was a kid!
-
Bill, what a great thing you are doing for these kids.
2 thumbs up!!

I had that setup in the past as well but got a little frustrated filling it all of the time.
For the money I spent on the tank and fittings I could have bought a compressor from an auto store for less than $100. That is what I have now and it works like a charm.
1966 nova.

As the others have said that is one of the nicest Novas I have ever seen.
One heck of a job cleaning up the mess you talk about. You should be proud of your recovery from the CA mishap.
