I've only been a member for a very short time but in my reading, I see quite a few good conversations that are very informative. I've still not decided on what my first build will be, but I feel comfortable that the "critiques" will be constructive. I appreciate a place like this.

How to remove tape adhesive?

Give normal cooking oil (Wesson, etc.) a try. I use it to remove the adhesive from price stickers on a number of glass, plastic, objects. A little of that with some rubbing with your fingers usually cleans it up. Tim -

Thank you for the welcome, Bill. I'm familiar with the town you are from as I used to work for Bethlehem Steel in the main office in Bethlehem, PA. There was a plant in Steelton.

Hello to all, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Tim from a small town in eastern PA. I haven't done a build in close to 35 years. I'm astounded by the work I see on this forum. My plan is to get back into the hobby and hope to post something soon.
