  1. Well rusted! You are right, not bad at all. Very good.
  2. WOW! Thank you for all the comments! @crazyjim and @Danno: The frost is made with airbrush (paint).
  3. A bit smaller frosty timber truck from Finland before WW2. This Ford was used instead of a horse on a ice road. The kit is Linberg Coca-Cola Ford. Please see more pictures HERE if you are interested.
  4. Thank You all for the positive feedback! @Belugawrx: I have never been in Canada or even outside the Europe... I think this Jeep is on of those 600 which were imported to Finland after WW2.
  5. Good old Jeep converted to snow plow, waiting for winter. The cab has been built in own workshop to keep snow storm out. The kit is Italeri and the plow is my own production. More pictures HERE.
  6. Ford V8 1937 timber truck from late 1940's. Truck is little worn out as it has been in heavy use over ten years. Truck participated also WW2 in Finnish army. Well, truck has no real life example but this might be close. More pictures HERE if You are interested.

  8. If you like or are a fan of EMEK-truck modifications (European trucks) please take a look on this and give your precious vote: http://emektrucks.nettisivu.org/vuoden-emek-2012/ This is an "EMEK of the year 2012" contest initiated by Finnish EMEK/other truck models -forum. EMEK models are plastic 1:25 trucks made in Finland (mainly for toy use but finishing is quite good). http://www.emek.fi/etusivu.htm
  9. Something European-African for you guys. Formerly Italeri Volvo F16 got a 10-litre engine and little more frame length and a stake body from AMT Ford C-600, ready to haul goods across dangerous savanna. More pictures HERE if you like to see. Pictures in former condition can be found HERE
  10. Thank you for your comments! Load is made from real stone (lapis ollaris). It is carved hollow with angle grinder.
  11. Hi all! Newbie on this forum! I want to show you my Kenworth K100 Aerodyne (AMT). I got this model about twenty years ago as a teenager. I built the model straight out of the box without any modifications and painted whole truck by brush, the cab was blue and the frame was black. Few years later I repainted whole truck black and white with spray paints and assembled a container, result was not very glamorous... The truck was forgotten over the shelf for years. Around 2004 I got some kind of interest to fix the old Kenworth. I repainted it and lengthened the frame about one inch so that the container would fit properly. Otherwise there were no big changes to the model. The truck was forgotten over the shelf again. During last year I have found again time for my old enthusiasm truck modeling. After few EMEK and Italeri Scanias I decided that dear old Kenworth deserves something better. This model has sentimental value for me so I did not want to just throw it away. I removed all old layers of paint and shortened the frame to original length. I built a short platform as I did not want this to be just a tractor. Short platform is optimal for heavy stone freight for which this model is designed for. Windshield needed to be renewed, the windshield vipers are loaned from EMEK model. Luckily I found the old front bumper from scrap box but the sun visor was lost so I had to make it myself. I'm quite happy with the result considering the starting point. I hope this is the last restoration for this Kenworth. See HERE for more pictures! Sorry no pics from the original model, that was not digital era...
