  1. I did a quick mock up of interior, body and chassis today and it looks like there are no fit issues Regards, Andraz
  2. Yesterday and today I managed to paint the interior with light and dark gray. All I have to do is make some corrections and add some details.
  3. It's been almost 3 years since I completed last model. Now I got time and will to continue this amazing hobby and I decided to start working on 3 models at the same time, because this models are very similar with similar paints and parts. The models I'm working on are: Revell 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8, Revell 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT8 and Lindberg Dodge Charger SRT8. All the parts were prepared for painting in the last couple of days and today some of them were painted with aluminum revell enamel 99. The body colors will be Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat for Charger and Magnum and Plum Crazy Purple for Challenger. Sorry for bad pics taken with my phone. And while I wasn't building models I certainly was buying them Here is my Mopar collection to date  Best regards, Andraz
  4. I started to work on a cute little car called cinquecento As a mopar fan this car should be in my collection since it's listed as a part of mopar family on official mopar homepage Fujimi kit is pretty simple with just enough detail to make a nice model. It'll be pearl white with gun metal wheels. I plan it to be an OOB build. 2 photos of all the parts: Cheers
  5. Finished: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=48945
  6. It's finished after about a month of work...I'm satisfied with the result although there are some minor mistakes. It'll look good on the shelf anyways
  7. more progress...
  8. Seats are almost done, there is only one PE piece missing; radiator is done...
  9. It was time to paint the interior. I used revell semi matte brown, because its my favorite leather color. I also made a template for interior floor and cut the pieces out of self adhesive ''flocking''.
  10. I was working with PE for the first time today and its worth the extra time you have to put in the build. The most challanging thing was to glue AMG logos on the brake calipers, but I've done it!
  11. I mixed the color for the rims and it came out just the way I wanted! I also completed the engine.
  12. Body was clearcoated a few days ago, but unfortunatelly some dust was in it, so I sanded the clear a bit, added the decal on the front ''bumper'' and clearcoated it again today. I used zero prethinned clear for the first time and I was extremely happy with the result. I still need to sand and polish the body a bit to achieve wanted shine.
  13. The body was painted with zero silver today...it has a bit chrome like look, but I think in the end it will be a bit different when clearcoated.
  14. I'm hoping to finish this one till 15th of october, because there will be Revell contest and thats why I have to speed the progress up I removed all the details that were molded in and will replace them with PE parts. The parts need a bit of sanding an they will be ready for paint
  15. Can someone please delete this topic, because I double-posted it accidentally. Thanks
  16. Today the weather is so great that I primed the body and all the parts that need to be painted in body color. I used grey primer and it looks really nice and clean. It will be the perfect base for silver color i plan to use for the body. I also got detail parts from Ka-Models which look great!!
  17. I started this model together with ferrari and a couple of things were already done about a month ago.
  18. I started this model together with ferrari and a couple of things were already done about a month ago.
  19. About 10 days ago I added decals and clearcoated body with zero 2k clearcoat. I had troubles with this clearcoat again. The air temperature was ideal, the pressure also, I even added more thinner as recommended and used a 0,5mm nozzle and it looked like the clear was too dense! So there is massive orange peel on the body :-? Now I'll have to put a lot of time in wetsanding and polishing he body...I only hope I won't burn through the clear. I started this process on the hood but it will take a lot of time to hopefully fix it!! Best regards
  20. Thats a good idea...I'll have to look at my stash and see which kits are not very interesting for me
  21. I applied final coat of red paint, now I have to add decals and clearcoat the body...
