This is one the other buys from the LIARS show. I paid $30.00 for this one. This was an updated original promo. Whoever had it before, updated the interior and chassis with that of AMT's latest 60 Ford kit. I wanted to do this one in a different 2 tone. I went to Google images and found one, I think it added a lot to the final restoration. It's painted Testors Wimbledon White with a Flame Red top and matching interior. I got rid of all the custom stuff, added stock wheel covers, a set of period wide whites. and tinted the glass. I brought it back to the way I like it, Replica Stock. Let me know how it looks. Thanks Al Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

I picked this one up at the LIARS show last weekend. I replaced the damaged glass and tinted it. Corrected the ride height and changed the too small MPC tires with AMT's Firestone from their parts pack. I paid $15.00 for this 67 Pontiac. Thanks for looking. Thanks. I soaked the body and glass in Purple Power and then tinted the glass with 5 very, very light coats of Tamiya clear blue on the inside of the glass. Al

I painted this one in Ford's Grabber and it didn't melt the Chevy. Nice kit. Al Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

Just a restoration I did over the weekend. I painted it Tamiya Black and no clear coat. The interior was done Duplicolor wine. Thanks for looking. Al Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

This kit isn't a fun build for me. It could be me, but the fit isn't up to that of their F350. It's parts overload, like 12 parts to make each seat. And the location of parts are very vague in their instruction. It looks good, but its been a big pain I painted it Duplicolor Toreador Red with grey interior. I know I need to do some touch up, but it's getting there. How's it look? Al Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

Steve, those colors came to me after I was stripping a diecast in an area with very little ventilation with MEK. LOL It was supposed to be yellow and purple, but I grabbed the wrong can of paint. What I thought was clear, turned out to be the clear yellow, which turned the purple into wine. The 60's were good to me!!!!

This is a Blvd. Resin transkit. The kit comes with a beautifully done body, complete interior, bumpers and headlights. the bumpers and headlights need plating, I Alclad mine. The glass is from an AMT 58 Chevy and the chassis is a modified Revell 58 Chevy. I used almost a half a sheet of Bare Metal Foil. All in all, a very well done kit and for $50.00 a must have for Cadillac lovers. Thanks for looking Al Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments. I missed this kit when it came out in 1966 and have been looking for one every since. I picked this one up at a swap meet at the Jersey Shore MCC meeting for $30.00, it was a dream come true. Al

This one wasn't to bad when I bought, but it needed something. So here's my idea for brightening it up. I still need to add the vent window posts, but the LHS that carry Plastruct is kind of a drive for me. I think it looks a lot better, what do you think? I got this at the Jersey Shore Club meeting Friday night. I always hated the yellow. I think it looks much better in green. Thanks for looking. Al Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

I've been looking for one of these for years. I finished this one in in primer grey with Testors wet look clear top coat to look like dove grey. The top, trim and interior are done with Restoleum caret wine. I also tinted the glass with Tamiya clear blue. Thanks for looking. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

I built this one from slides I found in my mom's photo album. My Grandfather always had Fords, but in 1950 he wanted something a little different. This one is in his style, 2 tone and that's it, not even a radio. Radio's is a fad that'll never takeoff. Thanks for looking. Al Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

I corrected the omission of the air scopes. Thank you for pointing that out and thank you everyone for all the nice comment on my Mercury. Al Hosted on Fotki

This was a quick restoration. I was lucky to find an almost mint promo with exception of a broken rear bumper, but with the help of fellow modeler Bob Ellis with a replacement bumper, I was able to turn this one around. It's painted Testors Flame Red with a masking tape Black vinyl top. Thanks for looking. Al Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

This arrived in the mail box Monday afternoon. It is beautifully done, everything fits like it came in the Moebius Box. The windsheild on the Missing Link kit fits like a glove. I painted it Duplicolor Teal Metallic with matching interior. The body was top coated with Testors Wet Look Clear, the glass was tinted with Tamiya Clear Blue and the wheels were finished with Alclad Chrome. Missing Ling did an outstanding job on this one. I took your advice and changed the pipes to cleaner looking ones. I still need to add the rear antenna's, but how does it look now. I only build replica stocks, so a low custom is way out of my comfort zone. Al Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

Thank you Mark. Tom Gieger is in the process of making this plate for me right now. Al Hosted on Fotki
