I cleared a car 4 days ago and it is still soft. I did a light, then medium and then a heavy coat. Putting into my dehydrator made it worse. Maybe too many coats? I know that Jameston is busy. I am waiting for a response to the e-mail I sent him. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have not had much luck with the markers. I bought a 30ml refill that I intended to spray through my airbrush, but haven’t gotten around to it yet. I think the trick is to get one heavy coat on that “flows out”…then don’t touch it. Some people like them but I’m not a big fan.
I have airbrushed and I have had good results. One heavy coat does the trick. I put the painted into my dehydrator which dries it out so it can be handled with no problems. Also, Molotov is ink not paint

It looks like this is the wrong type of masking tape. You need to use hobby tape specifically made for painting. Even though you may not like the look. Clearcoat will help to protect the chrome paint. Go down the list there is a "the best masking tape thread" some good info.

bill-e- boy is right. That is how I clean my airbrush no matter what paint I use. Also clean it as soon as you are done painting that will save you a lot of grief

Send an E-Mail to USCP. Ukranian Scale Car Production. I am sure that they can explain their situation.

Steven is right. Die Cast is the way to go. There are so many Earnhart die cast for sale starting at $24.00. Don't get fooled by the E-Bay scammers selling Hard to find Limited Editions for hundreds of dollars.

My brother favorite part is the Chevy fuel pump a with nylon stocking material for the filter. After a while it starts to break down and gets sucked into the fuel line.

Good evening, this is my first post on the forum. I want to build a 73/74 Challenger. This was the last of the first generation and is forgotten (some say that's a good thing) either way they're still meat to me. The car I wanna do is what I'd call the 'Grandpa Special.' You can see what I mean by that with the green car pictured in the Dodge brochure. I plan on using the ARII kit to start with, it seems very toyish so I'm wondering if there is a better way (it has to be cheap, I'm a broke college student) I also need a source for a 318 LA and the hubcaps seen on this car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's a real Fire breathing Monster. The street version never lived up to its full potential. The 1970 429 Super Cobra Jet was only rated @375hp

Just thinking. How about using a small home drone that has a camera and works with cell phone. A flyby video would be KOOL.

It took 3 years to build this...1,532 hours.............I couldn't fit the whole ship in one pic...it's more than 3 feet long
Maybe pictures taken from a ladder looking down?

louis,
Every time I look at your ship, I see something different. Do you have a stem to stern picture? How long did it take you to build it?

Yes. I spay it over bare plastic, primer, basecoat and really anything. I posted pictures of my fingers holding a T-Bird door panel that I sprayed with it. The other picture shows no residue or smears on my finger or the part. I will do it again and post my results.
Good Luck
