Interior panels painted 2 tone...

Made the interior door panels using styrene sheet of 2 different designs, scratch built the inner door handles...

I laid some paint, gold base and apple red kandi from House of Kolors, urethane clear covering it...

These pics were taken awhile ago, earlier this year, after I finished She Devil Rivi in the background. I wanted to be a little different, so I converted this Merc into a Aussie Merc Using the same dash in the kit, I cut the dash and switch it over to the other side...

I took pics when I was building the door jambs, put of deleted them by mistake, here's the pics, it was still a little rough, I had to sand a little more, I just to mock up the doors and primer it...

Took me awhile to get this thread started. Ok, this one started with the Revell 49 Merc custom kit. Going to car shows and seeing the great 1:1 cars there, I seen a couple of 4 door chop top Merc and got inspired, so I decided to make a 4 door to scale. So far this is what I got....

Thanx!!! They are sombreros, its from the same kit, just painted the edges red and applied the Caddy decal. The color is a solid purple, with blue kandi, and red pearl. In certain lighting, the color, you can see the red pearl, then it switches to green pearl for some reason....like a kamilian

Thanx!!! Yeah, I thought the same thing, so I lowered the front end just a tad, now the front part of the show pipes dam near hitting the ground!! Thanx for the heads up!! I wish I did have a 1:1 of it!!! Thanx for the compliments!!

I got the 2nd Merc done!!! What do you guys think?

I did a little bit more work on the 2nd Merc, put in the windows and side windows, made the side windows as vents. I got the interior done too and put in, not shown in pics though.

Sanded and cleared the 2nd Merc again, here's pics with the final coat of clear.
