  1. Hello,

I've been looking through various posts and casters sites to see if anyone has done a 1952 Plymouth Cambridge. It could actually be any year from '49 - '52. Could also be either the Dodge Coronet or a Plymouth Cranbrook, so long as it's that particular body style in a 2 door sedan. They're all pretty close.

But, I see nothing and I am completely out of the loop. So I figured I would ask the masses.

    Thanks,

    Glu

  2. Hello Terry, good to "see" you.

One other point is retail price. I'm not sure what the ratio of car modelers to military is, but most of the nice kits on that side of the fence seem to be a fair amount higher than the $10-20 we're used to paying for a new car kit.

Even so, you're right. The "high end, pro" kits we get often suffer the same lack of crispness as the regular kits. Trying to remember back to the airplane kits I've built in the past. They were certainly the less expensive variety, and I'm thinking they were comparable to our stuff.

  3. Hello folks. Add me to the Michigan list. I'm in Shepherd. I've been away from the hobby for several years but it's nice to see so many familiar "faces" on this forum.

I've got some physical issues that keep me pretty close to home these days, so I don't expect to make it to any of the gatherings the state has to offer. Really miss the Toledo NNL. Maybe next year.

I was looking for a place to give all my old pals a shout out to let them know I was back around the paint fumes again but I didn't see an obvious place to do it. Guess I'll have to go scratchbuild one if that's alright with the boss. :D

    Cheers,
