Here is my 87 Tamiya civic with a K20.I built it as a weekend warrior something you could take to a track day but still drive home.Thanks for looking.

I got the civic done.I added a roll bar, panted the body and added the decals last night.I'm going to post in Under Glass thanks for looking.

there is my pic. I've been working on my civic. So I haven't been working on my build but I'm o most done with the civic.

Here is what I've been building.The engine and chassis are from an Enzo kit.The rims are from an RX7 kit and the tires are from a jeep kit.The driver and seat are from a NASCAR kit.I'm going to have to scratch build the body.The engine will run on corn whiskey,easier to make and find than gas.

When i open the box it's the first thing i go for.I tend to look through it before i build the model,manly to see what options are available and decide if I'm going to modify or build it box stock.

I'm thinking Andy is home schooled

You got that right Shane.There was a episode of Finding Bigfoot on Animal Planet were they used those bikes.They looked really cool.

Thanks Bradley I'm still new to the form and didn't know Andy was only 13.Tom did Honda,Toyota,Nissan,Mitsubishi,Hyundai ask the government for a bail out? No that's right they build car people want to buy.You see all of those company's have plants in America.Paying UNION WORKERS to build these cars.People want to work at these factory's,they like having job security.Not the same as Chrysler.Before they closed down the Heselwood Mo plant, they had to recall the Dodge Ram trucks they just built because the Mexican pistons didn't work with the Canadian engine blocks.Did the worker care? No. See if they left before the pant closed they wouldn't get there severance package.By the way that 300M you like so much it was designed and built by Mercedes,back when they were DimlierChrysler.You know Mercedes that GERMAN company.O BY THE WAY THEY ALSO GOT BAILED OUT TWICE!!!!!!!!Andy wasn't ever born the first time.

I think Andy and Tom need to go test drive the hybrids before they go dissing them.If you can find a Tesla dealership i think it will completely change your option.The Tesla is a fast car.I wish they would make a model of it.Go to Honda and try the CR-Z.The cool part it doesn't look like a hybrid car.The thing you need to remember is if you want your big v8 muscle cars you need the auto company's to make these cars.Don't get me wrong I love muscle cars.That's why I build models.I drive a Toyota Yaris to work, it's an hour each way.It gets great gas mileage.I may be small (in your eyes)but I can go to home depot and get 12 bags of mulch in it.That being said all the Chrysler's I've ever had have fallen apart.The morel of this post is don't go hating on something till you get all the facts.

I going to dig through my "stash" and see what i can come up with. After all you have seen my Camaro. That should have given me some street cred.HA HA

the rest area was called Funks Grove Rest Area Mc Lean, IL 61754 north of Springfield IL It's got that crazy curved road going to the rest area.I hope you get a fun car to take up there.

I went up to Chicago last weekend and stopped off at this rest stop,and this is what i found.The models were really well built.I'm so glad i had my camera.

Here is what i'm working on now.I'm putting a K20 into a Tamiya 85-87 civic.I had a 87 but not like this! The muffler is wrapped in carbon fiber decal.I will add a rollcage.I think im going to make a sort of time attack/track car.Thanks for looking.

That's the blue Camaro from my other post. I build the Mazda box stock except for cutting out the hood and adding the engine.You are right though a Dana 60 or a Ford 9in would be better.I do have another Mazda kit and a 9in so maybe.........

thanks Andy The first one is typical of the quick sketches that i do when i can find time.

Here is my Camero.The inspiration came from an article i read in Hot Rod. the turbo came from the parts box in Australia.I scratched build the intake.It's a GReddy style. I also built the oil catcher.It has racing seats, a Nos tank ,and a "fart can" muffler.I know this is not for everyone but that's the fun of modeling. Thanks for looking.
