  1. Appreciate the comments guys.
  2. Thanks again guys.
  3. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Kind comments indeed. I'll post a few more drag cars tonight.
  4. Thanks for the kind words.
  5. Thanks again, this is the re-release of the flat box style Monogram Green Hornet T Roadster.
  6. Thanks guys, glad it hit the spot. The license plate floor was done by custom making a decal, I used scans of old plates and combined them onto one sheet and applied that to the floor panel.
  7. Glad you all like it, it's one of my favourites, although I'm a Ford fan this model Chevy is the bee's knees.
  8. Thanks again guys for the encouraging words. This was converted from the AMT Star Truck kit, I flipped the steering box over and made a new mount on the chassis for it and a new drop arm. The dash in these is close to the Aussie version so I shaved off all the detail and made a new decal with the right hand dash details to match our version. The motor has also been downsized slightly to look more like a 351ci Cleveland which is what ours are powered by.
  9. Thanks for the kind comments guys. The headers on the T were resin ones from the Parts Box company here in Australia Garry, they make some cool items. Cheers, Dave Loye
  10. Built a little T Gasser and it needed something cool to push it to the start line. Paint is RC model paint with a shot of clear over the top. Little kustom bits added as well. Cheers, Dave Loye
  11. Built this one early last year. Lots of scratch built stuff. Paint in candy purple with an overlay of fuscia flake with fades. Hope you like. Cheers, Dave Loye
  12. Was planning on building the 1:1 of this but health issues put an end to that idea, so the model bench gave me artistic release for a fraction of the time and price. Cheers, Dave
  13. Painted this in RC model car paint and then clear coated. Low and oool Chev Kustom. Cheers, Dave
  14. Built this for a local show, Theme was to get her as low as you can go, sheet of paper just slipped under mine and I didn't even place!!!!!! Cheers Dave
  15. Thought I'd build the other rod in this series. Added some detail and painted her in metallic british racing green. Scratch built the five belt pulleys for the motor to smarten her up a bit. Cheers, Dave
  16. Hi guys, finished the current re-release of the Black Widow, added a gearbox and final drive, scratch built new exhaust, tidied up the pickup cover and added a few little bits here and there to make look a little better. Cheers, Dave
  17. Had a little fun chopping up the Tony Nancy silver dragster to make a representation of an early six cylinder dragster. Resin motor and some scratch built bits including the decals. Hope you enjoy, cheers Dave Loye
  18. Hi everyone, been checking out this forum for a little while and thought I'd hop on board. Only really build drag and rod models in 1/25 or 1/16. Built this a little while ago from the Fire Fighter kit using Slixx decals and some Comp Resin bits. Hope you like. Regards, Dave Loye
