Good point, good luck with the build

These views make me want to build one now! Is there any chance you are casting the flares? If so, I'll be waiting in line.

That was mine and it was the Dali Lama by the way; I found it during my philosophy class. I didn't post it from a religious point of view, i just thought it made sense. As I stated, it wasn't that positive so I changed my post with the original as a basis for my new post.

I realized my original post wasn't too positive so let me change it and repost something along the same lines: "Do everything and regret nothing. It's all a learning experience" -anonymous

I found this inexpensive way to vacuum form parts with nothing more than a 2 liter bottle, peanut butter jar, and a vacuum cleaner. http://makezine.com/projects/how-to-make-your-own-plastic-vacuum-former/

This is an awesome build! Please tell me you are going to use the holes in the front as pockets for headlights.

Anyone have any good snow pictures today?
dirtracer2448 replied to rmvw guy's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Same here in central Michigan Von. I guess our storm has moved to the east coat and in Connecticut they have closed every road in the state. -
Will someone please post a photoshopped 1969 corvair coupe with a 1974 opel mantas c pillars and rear windshield, I have no photoshop skills lol

How big is your work table ?
dirtracer2448 replied to Fender's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I started working on my floor and then got a small drafting table that I use now. I could use more space but I also have other stuff on it. -
Chev Dually project!

I'm watching closely because I have a similar build in mind: my dad's 1:1 that is no longer with us. I like what I see so far -
That's funny but true. As for the car, I like it. GM has pulled out all the stops with this one, that's why they have it the stingray name (for special generations). Hand crafted leather seats, carbon fiber dash. At least most of us agree that the interior is a major upgrade from the previous generation. Yea, you are right when you say it looks like other high performance cars and that's because aerodynamics have certain properties that are difficult to use with any shape. I think this thing is supposed to get like 30 mpg! Plus 450 horses and a top speed close to 200 as well as a 50/50 weight bias and a 2 foot narrower turning radius. What more could you ask for? I agree that I don't like the rear end as much because it is not corvetteish, maybe because then it would've looked too much like a Ferrari (the round tailights). At least they are not doing the retro-thing.

2015 Chevelle Concept now Under Glass
dirtracer2448 replied to customsrus's topic in WIP: Model Cars
This is an awesome build. I can see a bit of an A-body chevelle in there. I would say move the door line back because there just seems like empty space behind the door. -
Hello from California, USA!

Hey Antonio, I am going into transportation design as well but through College for Creative Studies. Good luck with the program -
Yea, they broke off. I did not know that, thank you.

Thanks guys?I also planned on taking new pictures since these aren't that great. Z, I was thinking of rebuilding this one but I might build an additional.

I started with the Revell sedan hot rod kit and cut the roof off and angled the windshield back. The engine and wheels are from a diecast viper and the seats are from the Revell camaro. This has been done for some time, this being the third model I have done. The work is not good but I liked the idea.

Nice work and nice 1:1, is that an olds bravada bumper on it?
