  1. Interesting idea, thank you. I'm preparing for a model car show later this month so all my efforts are going into that right now, I'll see what to do after the dust settles in 3 weeks On the track!
  2. Chassis completed at last Trial fit onto bodyshell, interior taken out so I can see inside for clearance
  3. Work on the Cadillac is now finished so next week I'm back on the Monaco!
  4. Other projects are getting in the way, but I managed to get the interior in. "Fix the cigarette lighter"
  5. I'll see if I can cover my costs with the 1:32 version first and go from there. The vacform interior is done and the resin figure heads will be ready next week, I'll post updates when the model looks better. Thanks for the link, but my cars aren't die-casts so I'm not sure if it's worth showing!
  6. hmmm, that's not going to break even until I sell quite a lot! Meanwhile, back in the land of things which are too small Paint on!
  7. I've just been through the costs of producing some in 1:25 scale, can you give me some idea of the price charged for a 1:25 bodyshell and vacform windows? Primer on I've painted the front and rear silver to get the bumpers and radiator done, then masked them off to put the white and black on White paint on, the wait for it to harden is always longer than you want! Masking the doors and roof next, then black paint
  8. I don't know, what's the price charged for a resin bodyshell and vacformed windows in 1:25? With the cost of printing a new master I'm not sure it would be worthwhile
  9. My 1:32 resin bodyshells were completed today, they came out well. Now I need to find some clear photos so I can create the artwork for the graphics
  10. That's a really obscure one! I'm up to my eyes in a GMC van and Pickup truck right now, I'll see how things go when they're cleared.
  11. Sorry, didn't realise this was 1:25 only. I made it 1:32 because that's a popular slot car scale, there definitely isn't one already available! The benefit of doing models as I've done a few of mine, is that the master can be printed at any scale (although too big like 1:10 might show a lack of detail) then a mold taken from it.
  12. I'm just starting to work on a bodyshell at 1:32 scale The master mold
  13. I thought the Rosco Dodge Monaco had square headlights?
  14. I made a 1972 4 door resin body, but it's 1:32 scale and only the bodyshell because it fits on a custom slotcar chassis The 3D model On its custom chassis I have steering and suspension on my slot car 3D "printed" model Resin cast bodyshells
