Why not make the chassis red? The roll bars seen thru the side window shows the chassis would indeed be red...

Nice. Very nice! I was never able to find a resin Camaro body in stock anywhere.
There's a guy on Facebook and Randy's Nascar forum from Germany that makes the Camaro body Jay used

That doesn’t necessarily say much about the accuracy or detail of the parts. The Easy Click Porsche 356 in 1/16, the tractors in 1/24 or the eTron GT have all been very good kits that just happen to be engineered to snap together…
best,
M.
I was'nt saying it would'nt be a good kit and plan on buying it

I currently own the Airfix kit and it's a bit of a basket case at the moment. Hopefully I can build it up right with parts from the Revell. I am curious to see how the new kit looks!
The DB5 coming from Revell will be an easy click kit

There's a guy in Canada that's a member of the forum that mkes parts for it, Canuck 3D might be the name

The old Aurora DB4 is the only kit of that particular version, and the moulds I think may have gone to Monogram as was along with their Maserati tooling. The DB4 has virtually the same sort of body style as the DB5 but had standard round headlamps whereas the DB5 headlamps were set behind clear covers.
Airfix way back also released a DB6 kit in 1/24 th scale. Almost identical to the DB5 but for the boot having a turned up rear edge acting as an aerofoil.
I hope the new Revell Bond DB5 is a brand newly tooled kit and not a reissue of some other.
The kit coming from Revell will be an Easy Click style

Well, Steve G. said it's just an internet rumor but I'd imagine whoever this Wes guy is on Facebook would know better. He IS on Facebook after all so ???
Wes is a well known seller on Facebook and is behind the current modified kits you now see

Its what I plan on using, and used on the Gen 6 Logano one I built, its close enough for me , just not the pearl this time😄. I think one of Tamiya's TS sprays might actually be closer match, but I'd need to do some more research.

No I'm saying the kit which is the flareside "Street Custom" pickup which the box art was shown in the previous page of this thread has been around in that format since at least the 80s - the kit goes back into the 70s - is most certainly not the factory stock longbed that is shown in their "ShutterStock" stock photo they decided to use. Also when the kit came out it was branded a 1978, it's magicly lost two years over the course of time and became a 1976.
Oh ok thanks

Round II ? if you could acquire this mold I'd like to see what y'all could do with it... New Decals...Box Art, pad printed tires treaded and slicks... I know it's a jankie kit but I'm sure it would sell just for nostalgic reasons...
I'd rather see them back date the Squad Rod Nova than repop that hideous Nova kit
