I suppose you could argue that we missed our window on the Black Beauty, I'm hoping that we didn't and it's a success. For those who think we should be doing something else, what SiFi and or TV-Movie Movie car or truck would you like to see next?
As for doing it the BB as a 2n1 kit, there's just too many differences between the Dean Jefferies design and the stock 66 Imperial to make that work. For what it's worth, the design team was given all the stock Imperial details for future use.

I'm happy to see the BB done in 1:24 but as far as other TV/Movie cars or trucks go, a correct long bed Fall Guy truck and Eleanor from the Gone In Sixty Seconds reboot would be cool

Black Beauty will be added to my stash!!!

LEX hood seem to be hit and miss. I have about 25 of them and most are warped beyond repair or ill fitting. Guys say that in the last while the quality is better, whereas mine are from 4-5 years ago.
No issues with the ones I've bought

Seems like you'd REALLY have to want a Mustang and not be willing to wait. You're in for a body, aftermarket decals and Salvinos just upped their store (and retail MSRP) price to $44.95 last week. Sounds like an easy $100 to not wait what would be a few months into early 2023 for the kits.
The resin Mustang and 3D printed Mustang bodies really are'nt expensive at all under $50. And having $10 Fusion kits in my stash for a donor is a win in my book.

Too bad they duped us into thinking they were doing the Gen 6 Camaro

Be prepared to do some filling work to the roof because details that are on the underside of the roof were molded to the topside like the small hatch on the right and the curve lines linking the roof flaps. And the driver's side roof rail needs to be extended towards the front to match the passenger side rail.. Have fun!!

Either Testors or Tamiya gold should work fine

I'm not a fan of the Next Gen cars soI'll hold on to my money and build my Gen6 stash...

I hope they get them right

HL hasn't carried any NASCAR kits that I know of.
They carried the snap kits of the Chevy SS and the Fusions when they came out, that's where I bought mine.

Did the Chase Elliott kits run first? Because I never saw one of those new anywhere.
That I don't remember but because of the Monster Energy branding Hobby Lobby did'nt carry them so I bought some of mine on Ebay,Amazon, and Facebook and the rest I got from guys who shopped at Ollie's..

I remember going to Ollie's for the first time to look for model kits a couple years ago. They had about 30 of the Revell Danica Patrick and Kevin Harvick kits for $9.99 each. I bought four and thought about getting them all. Should have as you can't even find these on eBay any more and when you do they are at least $60 each.
The Danica kits were a limited run just like the Chase Elliott kits, I'm thinking 5000 because that was the run on the Chevy's and the Harvick kits were 10k.

Green Hornet's Black Beauty please and a current Charger would be cool..

I don't like it or the new car, to me it's like they're trying to reinvent the wheel and the sport all over again and looking to compete with other series..
