Cheers Roger, yep was a rare find in my local hobby store, they had a heap of old kits, average price was $20au, they even had some old nascar kits which didn't last long ! When I finish this kit, it will be towing the Galaxie '24 tag along trailer, something I need to get started

Thanks Ron and Mike ! Mike, it was trial and error as I built the thing! I used a wire brush to get the worn paint look, dry brushed some brown and silver to get the worn panels and a bit of surface rust look. The engine was blackwashed with a bit of dry brushing here and there! I read a few articles on dry brushing which helped, the rest was an experiment
