Hey guys I'm brand new to the forum! I Just started modelling about a month ago and its really given me a passion for classic cars! I am 14 and there is still a lot to learn but I'm trying my best. Luckily i have an art background so its a little easier on me. Anyways heres the progress on my first kit! Revell 1969 Shelby GT500. I Decided to go with Tomiya's spray "Camel Yellow". Wow that daytona looks sharp! Love the use of those Red Lines!

If you want the letters white heres a tip you could use! Get your self a nice white out pen and carefully colour them in. If a white out isn't available get a gel pen and prime the letters with a bright flat colour.

If you want to shave down the letters (Which i completely disagree with) just get out rough sand paper and once you are clear of the letters just use a less intense grit to clean things up.
