Well the winter weather has arrived and for me that means full build time. It's pretty tough to paint in the house so I'll keep building and waiting for warmer days.
This is the 40 Ford Standard kit from Revell. I chopped about 4 scale inches out of the top and dropped the chassis as far as I could. It's shaved and smoothed and just about ready for some real primer. I have found that a light sanding coat really help get the body right.
My old eyes are not what they once were. I guess that's what they mean by "going dim"...
I scribed new door panels and the tail lights are going to be from a 63 'vette. The gray is Tamiya brush-on primer, it works well for small scratches and joint filler.
