My local model club's next theme night is 'Any colour you like, as long as it's not shiny'.
Most of my builds are shiny, so it hasn't been easy for me to create an entry for that evening. However I managed to avoid the temptation of gloss and polishing cloths to produce this early Ford.
Paint is Tamiya metallic blue covered with Testor's Dullcote. The Revell '37 has basic plumbing and wiring, the wheels are my current favourite, Radirs from the Thundebolt kit, wrapped in tyres and decals from the Revell '32 5 window. The exhaust tips are aluminium tubing and the taillights are Model Car Garage items from the 1932 Ford Coupe sheet.
The firewall is gloss white (shhh!) so I hope I can remain a member of Jim's Shiny Club
Thanks for looking.
