Hi all! Got this one finished up yesterday, so here it is in completed form. The initial inspiration for this build came while working on my pro touring 70 Caddy. Russell C here on the forum sent me a link that sent me down a rabbit hole, and I came out with tons of ideas. Thanks again Russell!!! Then Martin Aveyard built an amazing cyberpunk car, and that was it, I had to build one. Thanks again to Martin as well for inspiration, and some help with questions I had. I totally get that this build will not be everyone’s “cup of tea” but it was fun, and something a little different. List of modifications: Body: Dodge Daytona body with rear removed, front fenders removed, raised, then reinstalled to add width, side scoops added, opened grill and hood vent, roof scoop, headlights from a Camaro. Body is Tamiya metallic orange, with clear orange, then clear. Interior: modified dash, added S10 gauges, scratch built console/shifter/and drift brake, seats from a Subaru rally car, seat belts, roll bar, radar detector, parts box steering wheel, keys in ignition, flocked floor boards under hood: fuel cell with fill tube, battery, NOS bottle, re positioned rad with hoses, scratch built inner fenders. Chassis: narrowed front, lengthened mid section, relocated wing forward about 12”, ignition wires, fuel line, brake lights, modified wheels to suit and added valve stems. Thanks to all that followed along in the WIP thread. It sounds like a couple of you have builds of your own brewing! (Anton, Martin, others?) Hope to see what you guys create.
