The mpc grumpy’s toy kit with a swapped out small block painted with testors white and gold enamel. I pieced the decals together from various slixx sheets. I just can’t build enough of these pro stock Vegas there a nice easy quick build that look great on the shelf. I’ve built 9 so far and have decals for at least 4 more. I think it would be great if Steve G and the folks at round 2 would reissue the pro stock pinto with the earlier 1972 skinny bumpers , and the Sox & Martin duster .Thanks for checking it out, mike

This is a mostly an out of the box build with the a rear wheel substitution from the polar lights funny car kits . In my opinion this is the best slingshot dragster kits of the mid to late sixties era , and their our a lot of aftermarket decals available for it . So kudos for round 2 for reissuing this fine kit. I found that it goes together real easy . I definitely don’t get into a slump building these rail jobs and I’ve built quite a few of them. For some reason this issue of model car science is kinda tough to find. Until next time thanks for looking ?, Mike ind

This car represents the early days of pro stock or heads up super stock. The mpc kit has just about everything you need I added the correct wheels, and made up a set of headers out of solder and aluminum tubing I also added side windows which I cut from clear plastic sheet. I covered the body in testors purple lacquer with wet look clear. The decals are from smp. This mpc kit is a all time great , and builds up real fast and easy it’s not overly detailed like the modern tooling of today’s new kits . I’ve built quite a few of them into super stockers and they all look great on my shelf. Until next time thanks for looking ?, Mike

This started out as the mpc Dyno don kit painted with tamyia white topped with their clear pearl . I found these decals from a eBay seller. The hemi , and wheels came from my parts box. This is a kit that builds into a nice replica, and the chassis lends itself to a lot of resin bodies. Until next time thanks for looking ?, Mike
