Started 2 new ones the other day.
I'm not much of a Chevy man but all of the built models of the 66 Impala that I have seen look so good that I just have to build one. The color is Tamiya's beautiful light blue pearl.
The next one is being built from an original kit that I got from a buddy in trade. It was unmolested and was only missing 2 stock wheels and the clear display base.
I'm building it straight OOB and the pic is only a quick mockup of course. It too is painted with Tamiya spray. The chrome is starting to go but maybe I can replace the bumpers someday with some reissue ones. The fact that they have lost some luster doesn't bother me as they look more realistic that way but the chrome has partly rubbed off on the front one.
Should I go with a white interior or red?
