Drake69 Posted March 19, 2015 Author Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) ^^^ LOL! Ok, back on it! Trim is on... Grill and rear bumper painted... And a better shot of the interior... I love fabric and vinyl spray paint. It makes things so much easier... The only real problem with this kit is all the plastic flash you have to cut away and clean up before you can do anything. I know it's a repop, but I'm serious. This kit had more flash covering it than Dale Arden's ever seen (I'll give the younger guys a chance to research what that means... ). And the chrome tree looked like someone took a bath in it. I had to trim, shave, and smooth away as much as I could and still be usable, and so much of the chrome was chipped away from the bumpers that they looked awful. I finally decided that the bumpers would just be Blazing Black, and now it actually looks nicer than all chrome! Edited March 19, 2015 by Drake69
Drake69 Posted March 19, 2015 Author Posted March 19, 2015 Putting decals on, what should I do here? BMF the top of the decal across the roof trim like the original artwork? Or. leave it completely alone? Poor Artoo met with a slight accident and I lost that little corner of the image... grrrr.
