davysmodels Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Anyone have/built the R&R 1970 Chevy Impala wagon? Please post pic's (left/right side views ) of the body. Thank You.
Bob Ellis Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I think a couple of photos are in Resinrealm site. Since Ray has been dead a couple of years, or so, I doubt any are available. You can email Steve Kohler.

davysmodels Posted March 30, 2015 Author Posted March 30, 2015 thanks for the info. Yes, all sold-out already. I did find one picture on the internet, but it was more of a angled front-to-back view. Need the straight-on side views. Hopefully someone has the model and will post a couple pics. Thank You.
Bob Ellis Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Walid, Unfortunately some of those R&R wagons disappeared fast after Ray died. You might try the Facebook groups or ebay to see if one shows up. If you are not already a member of Station Wagons in Scale group on Facebook, I encourage you to join. Somebody there might help you.

I already have mine No, seriously, despite the flaws and accuracy issues with R&R models, they offered by far the largest program of resin kits for years. The program contains unique subject found nowhere else. The station wagon series is a demosntrative example of this. What happened to all these moulds and masters?? Isn't it a pitty to see them vanish?? There are more than a possibility to preserve and restore this collection. The easiest is to prepare new moulds using existing masters. Bob Ellis Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Somebody said the patterns went to Europe, is this true?
khier Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Somebody said the patterns went to Europe, is this true? No idea, but hard to imagine since resin cars models are not widely popular especially in 1/25 scale. Besides, R&R subjects dominated by classic American cars are even less popular there.
