Yet another project I’d like to get wrapped up in the next couple of months, is this 1:35 Tamiya Jagdpanther. (I’m also a part time tread-head.) Almost ready for paint, pending my ordering of deck screens and tracks, (as well as the inevitable cleanup of dozens of road wheels). I’ll probably do this as a straight up yellow/brown, and set in a scene of a destroyed town.

(Ironically, though I have gobs and gobs of references on the Panthers and Jagdpanthers, I'lll be adding no extra details to this, even though it could certainly benefit from it.)

I always thought those were pretty sharp looking. Do keep us posted on your progress on this! B)

Me too. I already have a base that's pretty much ready to go (designed for an aborted 1:35 Russian JS-2), so that part will be pretty easy. If I had the engine deck screens, I'd be painting this already. Where I'll probably go nuts with details, will be when I tackle my Academy 1:25 Jagdpanther kit.

It's an utterly gorgeous day here today, so I've just been out sitting on the deck, cleaning road wheels. Here's the first set of sixteen middle wheels. Quite a pain in the rump, but necessary. Now it’s back to the sixteen inners and outers,… maybe.
