It's either Testors one coat or custom lacquer.

sitting in brake fluid I mean I can scrub and scrub and scrub with the toothbrush(stiff bristle), and while you can see the brush turning a little red from it, it doesn't seem to do anything to the paint on the surface. I can only conclude that at this rate it would be 2-3 years soaking in this stuff.

The paint just was not reacting well at all, which maybe it's a formulation issue in this batch. Might have something to do with it's difficulty in removal. I've never had any sort of an issue with any of this paint before. I'm at a loss on this one.

91% alchohol from the local drug store should get it stripped. I am quite suprised the brake fluid didn't do the trick though.

The upside of this, you should never have an issue with paint actually staying on something when you want it to......
