Brendan Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Kit is Studio 27's Peugeot 908 Le Mans 2007. It's a decent kit but had quite a few small issues with it. Such as, some of the PE was incorrect in scale. Also had some issues with the wing uprights. Also fit issures with the body going to the chassis...very tight in the back. The paints used were Tamiya's TS-26, TS-49, and TS-14 decanted and airbrushed. The decals were decent though I did not use any of the red striping for the body. Was easier to paint the stripes in. You can follow along in the build on the Workbench Section. Would recommend this kit. Feel free to comment.
ismaelg Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Beautiful! I've been following this one closely on the workbench section. Great job on such a nice looking car. I hope that's the shape of the future, as we move into closed cars in the near future.... Thanks,
Raul_Perez Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Another very nice build, Brendan!! I'm looking forward to seing it on Saturday!!
Nick F40 Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Daaaang, beautiful dude! Followed this from the start and boy did it turn out nice.
Brendan Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 Thanks everyone for the comments. fordsixty, Shouldn't be afraid of resin. Just find a good kit and give it a try. You'll find it just like working on a plastic kit once your get the hang of it.
