MCM in the Uk

Hi all

Can anybody let me know if there is anywhere I can purchase MCM over here in the UK? I can get the "other" magazine no problem but MCM remains elusive.

I know about subscribing but the cost is quite prohibitive, I'm really just looking for the current issue no 194.

If anybody can help me out please drop me a pm,I'd be very greatful.

I don't think you can buy the magazine overseas. Subscription is the only option.

If it was available as on online downloadable subscription Id be more than happy to take out a full sub, I prefer to read them on my tablet these days than have them cluttering up the house.

I cant be the only one thats ever asked for MCM to go digital surely (waiting for the flack now about cost prohibitive etc Lol)

I did manage to find the current issue online but they want $42 shipping for one magazine which is an absolute joke, but Ill keep trying.

I've looked into this before, but the only way you can get it over here is to take out a subscription and have it shipped over, I'd love to have the magazine but the cost is just out of the question, the "Other" magazine used to be easy to find but at lot of the W.H Smiths have stopped putting it on there shelves now, and at least with that one you can get a digital download option.

It does seem rather expensive. My two year overseas subscription to Hemmings Sports and Exotic Cars cost a bit less than $60. The US prices of the Hemmings magazines and MCM are about the same, but the overseas sub is twice as much for MCM..

Agree Matt its far too pricey for me which is such a shame, fingers crossed MCM will go digital at some point for all us non US fans of the magazine.

Geoff, Smiths have stopped selling the other magazine down my way too, but like you said its available online so not a problem.

Ive had one single copy of MCM from a few years back which I keep thumbing through, and its the better magazine of the two to me, just so frustrating in this day and age of digital everything its not available unless you are willing to pay well over the odds for a subscription.

I managed to find an older copy on eBay, pretty sure I bought it as it had an article on the Moebius Hudson Hornet, I must admit I do prefer it to the "Other Magazine" but even with the shipping with a subscription, the other magazine doesn't cost me much per year.
