Ben Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 has anyone ever made a working Cargo net in 1/24-1/25 scale? It would need to be stretchy and have hooks on four sides.
Old Buckaroo Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Ben, I needed some netting for an aircraft build several years ago. It was out of scale for what I did then but might work for you. the material - Fishnet stockings
detailstymied Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 (edited) hairnet? or tulle from the fabric shop Edited July 4, 2015 by detailstymied
Ironman63 Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 What about the line that Model RRs use for power lines? http://www.berkshirejunction.com/ezline.html You could make your own with hooks made from paper clips.
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 (edited) You can get millinery (hat-maker's) netting in various net sizes at fabric / sewing / craft supply stores. Edited July 4, 2015 by Ace-Garageguy

Scale-Master Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 I made one out of vinyl, but it was the style that had rectangular holes with radiused corners and was the size of a tailgate. It had enough stretch and sag to look believable.
