Hello everyone, another new Aussie member here. I live in Newcastle NSW and I mainly model 1/72 aircraft. Your may be asking what's a 1/72 scale aircraft modeller doing here? I do also like looking at model cars at shows and attend any 1/1 old car or truck show and antique aircraft show or fly in that I can. I also own a 1/1 1939 Pontiac Sloper which I'm slowly restoring. She's actually in very good condition for a 76 year old car with no rust (well a couple of spots of surface rust which will be dealt with when she gets soda blasted early next year.) I'm looking for an example of the locally cast Chev Sloper body in 1/24 scale to kitbash with a 1939 Chev Sedan Delivery kit and convert to a '39 Pontiac Sloper. I would be most grateful if anyone here could help me to locate one of thes rare cast resin body kits and the Sedan Delivery kit as well.

Regards,

RHB.

Thank you for the warm welcome fellows. I might just have to buy a car model, a Chev Sedan Delivery if I can find one to build as a standard model to get some experience at car modelling.

Regards,

RHB.
