DugE Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 A couple of weeks ago some member posted about a club gathering that had an 8 hour shootout to see what they could build in 8 hours. I do not know who it was, but if anyone does please let them know I said thank you. It really gave me an excellent idea for my 10 year old son’s birthday party the first week in April. We have purchased 2 dozen AMT Snap dukes of hazard monster trucks, and after the presents and fun, the real fun is going to start. Each child is going to get to sit down and build a model. It was such a simple idea and they are going to have a blast, but I never would have thought of it without the help of the gentleman who posted the 8 hour club build, whoever you are thanks a lot for the idea.

As for the left over models I would say sure no problem, but I noticed the misses said NO!!!! Tangling with a marine is an ugly thing…….but tangling with a marines wife, well it’s just crazy so I’m afraid your SOL on the left over kits
