Viewing posted photos

I'm new to this forum, and am having a problem viewing some of the posted photos. I'm legit and logged on, but some of the photos show a picture of a cat where the photo should be. Am I doing some thing wrong? It doesn't happen all the time. Please help. Your "digitally challenged" forum member... Ernie :>)

I get that same thing also on several sites. Always wondered if it was a closed photo bucket account or something. I've always posted directly to the site from my computer. I'd like to know the answer also.

Those are dead links - closed accounts, or removed from the picture hosting site by the poster, or sometimes pics where the link changed. No matter why - they are essentially dead links.
