PlowKing Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 After a recent trip to Maui I've now become fascinated with the sugar cane haulers. Only 1 mill exists in the Hawaiian islands. I tried shooting more photos at the mill but security was tight and even after asking permission I was told NO. Do any casters make this C500 conversion?? Would make for a beast of a model. Ryan
Superpeterbilt Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 AITM makes this, but you'd be better of just using a W-9 and making your own fenders, or see if Dave would sell you just the fenders. http://www.aitruckmodels.com/pages/ck100kenworthc500.html
PlowKing Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 The grill is shorter than the conventional W900??
Jim B Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Yes, the C500 grill is shorter that the W900. Also, the C500 has straight frame rails as opposed to the W900 that has the "dip" in the front.
