One of the guys here at work picked this up on the weekend from his brother. Seems one of his brothers tenants left a lot of unfinished models when he left & my coworker grabbed this one.

Wondering if anyone know the year it was produced, costs new etc?

Is there a copyright date on the instructions or molded somewhere on the plastic?

according to the links, it would be 1984 after the AMT/Ertl merger.  The plastic dates back to the 1975 "small box" retool.
