Eeyore Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Well Nick F40 the top one is obviously a Mazda RX8 engine bay, RENISIS Rotary/Wankel engine (unsure if it's a 6 or 4-port, we have both here in Aus) and I'm guessing it's an early model with that blue colour so could be 2004 or 2005? As for the second bay it looks like an E30 BMW (1981 - 1991) to me with a Bimmer inline 6. It's obviously some kind of race car as most of the engine bay accessories have been removed. Gotta love the individual throttle bodies!

CAL Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 (edited) what edition? Edition? There were no "editions" of these cars. Porsche wasn't into editions They has some "Special Production" models for the 924 but not the 931/932 937/938. Edited August 14, 2008 by CAL
CAL Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 (edited) Well then, what's Sebring all about? Donno you tell me. I don't know of any Porsche called or had Sebring as part of the name. In fact as far as the factory is conserned there was 901-999 And some odd balls 356 series and 550. I think there was some others out of the 900 sequence. And the way early stuff. VW, tanks, PanzerFuast. at one time I compiled most of the list from 003-998 Edited August 14, 2008 by CAL
ericmaxman Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Hey guys. I think I should show you some pictures and try guessing. Guess what car is this.

CAL Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 read grasshopper http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt...ficial%26sa%3DN Intersting. Well, what you have pictured wasn't a Sebring Edition in any event. Editions Must have been a VW thing.. What you have pictured is a Carrera GT. 937/38
Nick F40 Posted August 14, 2008 Author Posted August 14, 2008 (edited) It said it was a 944 Carrera GT Sebring and it had a red plaid interior what was that, there's something interesting about the Porsche facts? Edited August 14, 2008 by Nick F40
CAL Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 It said it was a 944 Carrera GT Sebring and it had a red plaid interior what was that, there's something interesting about the Porsche facts? What I read is they were ALL red, had specail wheels and some stupid looking stripe down the side, and it was not a Carrera GT. it was just a plain jane 924 with some cosmetics.
Nick F40 Posted August 16, 2008 Author Posted August 16, 2008 Well, let's settle it at that then Hey guys. I think I should show you some pictures and try guessing. Guess what car is this. is it a Malaysian Ford?
ericmaxman Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Well, let's settle it at that then is it a Malaysian Ford? Nope. try harder.
