BubbaBrown Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 The windshield is not even close to goin in.Have already chipped A-pillar paint, Any suggestions ?
Platerpants Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 It was a very tight fit for me with all the windows but i have built 2 of them. The trucks do have fitment issues but dont be affraid to put some force into the windows just not too much.
bismarck Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I'm lovin the stance on both of those trucks!! Do you have more pics of these anywhere else on the boards? those look COOL!!

bismarck Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Man, I have got to get another shortbed to build a gasser out of. THAT'S COOL!!!
Platerpants Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Its a great kit and modified pretty easily although i didnt change much on the shortbed other than wheels and the engine. the longbed got more modification with the suspension
bismarck Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I had this idea of turning a shortbed into a gasser. Those wheels and tires set that truck off. I need to get my hands on another one of these.
Chuck Most Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Sand the windshield opening and trim any mold lines before installation of the "glass". It's a tight fit, but the plus side is you won't need glue to keep it in place. If you plan to foil or detail paint the trim, I suggest doing so after the windshield is in place.
BubbaBrown Posted November 17, 2015 Author Posted November 17, 2015 Thanks Chuck. It really had me frustrated the other nite. I took the glass I was trying to put in the 72 and put it in the 69. The 72 is still sitting here .Maybe I'll try again tomorrow. These Moebius kits are really nice but I wonder why they didn;t make them where the engines would interchange. To me thats what made AMT popular with the old Fords. All the engines would interchange except the Hemi hit the inner fender panels. Thanks again. Bubba
