I recently uncovered some old drawings from the 70's and 80's from a car magazine collection that I have had for over 40 yrs.

When you have thousands of magazines, things tend to get lost between the pages.  

Here's one that a friend did for me in '83.  I was a young guy drag racing so he thought I would like this.  I need to find the ones I did ...

Kinda looks like a Datsun 510 from the front. It would look about like that with a set of slicks out back too!! Cool drawing.

I used to draw front shots exactly like that when I was a kid.. man I miss drawing. I havent really sat down and drawn in probably 12 years

I remember them being really popular in the 70's. Weren't they called "Zingers" or something to that effect? I used to try to draw the VW versions. Not well though
