DRIPTROIT 71 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 I know that this is a long shot, but I am hoping some of you have some reference pictures of trucks that ran out of North Carolina in the 70s and especially the 80s. Some that I'm looking for are: Glossons Motor Lines (Lexington), Food Lion (Salisbury), Coble Diary (Lexington), Hudson Transportation (Lexington NC, and Troy, Al), Lexington Specialty Foods (Lexington), Billings (Lexington), J&S (Lexington), Overnight, Old Dominion or any other NC trucks from that era. I'm also looking for good reference photos of Winn Dixie trucks from that era as well. These are some build that I'm wanting to build, and I need reference photos along with door logos etc. If anyone has any photos at or around the Roadranger truck stop that was in Lexington at that time, I would like to see those photos as well. Thanks for your help....Brian

Superpeterbilt Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Im not sure which type of trucks Winn Dixie ran in North Carolina, but down here they ran GMC 9500s, then GMC Briggaderes, then Volvos.I may have some pics of the 9500s. I know in Texas they ran some Macks, and in Florida they ran some Fords and IH transtars. Ill try to dig out what I have.
