6bblbird Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Been trying to figure out this question for a week now.
muddragger92 Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 Its a tough one lol. But I have messed around with some styrene tryin to make a button but it just didn look right so I didn know if there was any tips on how to make an trans brake button for the steering wheel.
6bblbird Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Okay, now I get it. It would be very tiny in 1/25 scale. You might try to carefully apply a dot of chrome silver paint to the steering wheel spoke. After it dries (could be twenty years. lol) try to add a smaller dot of red paint right in the center. You could also drill a .025" hole through the spoke and insert a piece of .025" plastic rod painted red. Very small gauge wire is available to make the cord.
Daddyfink Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Get some scale valve stems and just drill on into the wheel. The wire can be made using thin gauge wire and coiling it by wrapping it around a needle or pin.
