henry57 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I've had this kit for several years, I picked it up from a friend along with several other vintage kits, but when I got them all the parts were scattered out between all the boxes. Does anyone have one of these kits to show what wheels and tires are supposed to be with it? The wheels were removed from the trees but it looks like everything else is there.
disabled modeler Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I had that one as a kid...awesome to see one again..! The rear tires will be 2 piece if I remember right the inside is a smaller part made from the same material but almost looks like a ring. If you have any photos of the other parts with the others it might be more helpful to tell what goes with which ones...be glad to help if possible...send me a PM or post here.
Mr mopar Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Do a googol search it will come up with a good pic's of a green one, whitch is on coffin corner.hope this helps you?
henry57 Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 Huh, I haven't seen the green one. There's a purple one and a green one, it looks like they both have different wheels on them. The purple one has the dull chrome, the green one has bright chrome that doesn't look like the rest of the chrome in the kit.
junkyardjeff Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I do not ever remember seeing that kit,the slicks look to be the normal big slicks of the early to mid 70s kits and if they are the two piece type I just used a set on my mustang gasser project.
Mr mopar Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 The one in the medal is from the pie wagon and the tires too,the big slick is the one you need for that kit!
henry57 Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 I've got about 100 slicks, a lot of them are a little different. Should they have the Goodyear lettering?
Mr mopar Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Yes Goodyear is on them, far right slick (in your photo)is what you need. If you looked at the green one on Google search those are the correct mag wheels you need!
