JTalmage Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 (edited) I have been working on this car for years as time and money allows, and its slowly paying off. Its a 1993 Lincoln Mark Viii and it started out as a daily driver in '09. Long story short, I wrecked it and have been rebuilding it since about then. Now that all of the big stuff is out of the way, one of the things I have been waiting to do is install my sequential taillights. But on my car they never came with them. So with the help of the Internet and a good friend who is greater than me when it comes to wiring, it's done! And I thought I'd share a short clip from when we were testing them. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=K3LmE5fl5SQ&feature=youtu.be Edited January 5, 2016 by JTalmage
Dave Van Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 I just put them in my 1/1 1966 Mustang 2+2 project car......amazing as I remember when the Cougar first had them and the control box was like $700.....now with LED's and a VERY small PC board you have them for $75!!
JTalmage Posted January 5, 2016 Author Posted January 5, 2016 Im still using regular 1157 bulbs (short globe for space savings) and I got my modules from www.webelectricproducts.com and ordered the sts4 kit since I have 4 bulbs on each side. But yes, it is amazing how cheap and easy it is now
pharoah Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Didn't the Cougar have a mechanical system for that? A motor that moved an arm to make contact? I remember those well.
