"Limited Edition" is often a synonym for "doesn't sell well".

Anyway, the kit follows the current trend to use a very big box for a few plastic pieces. The environment, you know.

The model clearly depicts an early version (1955 - 1959), with the small 'nostrils', more rounded front fenders, and small rectangular taillights.

The interior, molded in snot green:

Note the roof liner:

The remainder of the body panels is also molded in white:

Why they chose a snot green for the oily bits and interior parts is beyond me.

So is the glass. The windows are ultra thin.

The tires have sidewall detail.

There is a bit of rubber hose included.

Sadly, the format for the rear numberplates is wrong, so is the one for the Italian and Swiss front plates. Revell. Need I say more?

And of course there is some paperwork real men ignore.

Glad it see what's inside, We call the early ones "low light Ghia's" , but I'd bet most VW "experts" here in the States would call them "incorrect" because they don't look like the ones they remember. They still rag on the ROG '68 Standard.

Heck, I'll take it off your hands if you don't like it. You could, like, end up with acid reflux or a bad case of gout if you keep it.
