Armed with some new supplies I have begun work on my second truck since many years. As a bonus,I found an old Ford Louisville Short Hauler In the basement that I started many years ago.Finding this site has been quite an inspiration !

Vic - I can not wait to see how you decide to build your KW. It looks like you have a very nice work area .

If your short some parts for your Louisville Hauler let me know. I bought one a while back for just the chassis.

   Vic,

Looks like you got a new workbench and a new model to build on  it. Will be watching to see what you do on this COE!

Thanks Sean, believe it or not all of the parts are still with the Ford!I'm just doing a little bit at a time on it and trying out some techniques.Like when I tried to remove one of the front wheels that was toed out and got a little too much heat near it.I melted half of the centerlink and tie rod end but fixed it with a piece of brass tubing and a little piece of plastic lol!

Gino,I'm going to try and build more of an owner operator style on the KW.Struggling on a scheme, thinking about some decals for it.My first over the road big truck ride was probably in 74 in a KW cabover. That truck was green and white and had the lightning bolts on each side below the windshields.

Gator, believe it or not that bench is probably 18 years old.Theres usually so much BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH on it that the back of it never got dirty. It's out in my shed where it's peaceful and I can leave everything laid out until I come back to it.My modelers mat came in the mail the other day and I just bought a lighted magnifier lamp for my old eyes lol.Even if I don't get much done it's still relaxing to spend a little time out there!

Well your workbench looks pretty good. As far as getting away and relaxing while tinkering with a model. That is for me what it is all about ! Though my workbench is not secluded any more. I still can zone out. My wife knows to leave me alone when I am at the workbench.Especially if I have my headphones on!!!
